The biggest problem facing our loan applicants is finding a qualified guarantor. For many reasons, including being new to Alberta, feelings of stigma, or having no one financially able to help out, applicants are unable to find a guarantor and are therefore unable to secure a loan through us.

An Angel Guarantor is someone who agrees to provide the CJFLA with a specified sum of money to loan out in these extreme circumstances. There is no contact made between the Angel Guarantor and the applicant and complete confidentiality is maintained.
